What's currently in my make up bag?

I am constantly swapping and changing my make up bags and the products inside the bags, so I thought I would do a post on what's currently in my make up bag. This will include some of the products I reveived as Christmas presents as well as old favourites I've had in my make up bag forever. Enough chit chat, let's get down to it.

Foundation - I am currently using the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place liquid foundation, in the shade Ivory Nude 1N1, after getting a tiny sample bottle from my local Boots Store and completely falling in love with it. The coverage is fantastic and builable and it really does stay in place all day long. With a semi matte finish, it's great for my sensitive, combination skin.

Powder - To set my foundation and concealer (Collection Lasting Perfection in shade 01 in case you're interested) I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. I have been using this powder for about 6 months now and it sets my base so well. Since using this setting powder, I have received so many compliments on how "fresh faced" I look..apparently! I'm almost out of the powder now so I'm ready to reorder, or possibly get something different..if you have any suggestions, please comment below!

Contour - For Christmas, my lovely boyfriend treated me to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit in the shade light. I have been super impressed with this product, it's so easy to blend. There are two shades in the palette I haven't used yet because they are a little too dark, so I will have to wait until my pale skin sees some sun to be able to use the darket contour shade! The lighter shades are fabulous and I have been using the banana shade to help brighten under my eyes. This has got a big thumbs up from me!

Contour no.2 - Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Curvy Contour has been my contour alternative for the last few months and, again, this product is also super easy to blend, however it does only come in one shade, so right now, as I haven't got a tan, it is a little too dark. This is when my ABH palette will come into play as there is a lighter shade I can use.

Bronzer - Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Bronzer in the shade 01. I received this bronzer for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. It is the perfect shade for my oh so pale skin tone and is so beautiful to blend and warm up my skin. I 100% recommend this bronzer.

Highlight - Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Hefty Highlight has been my highlight for AGES now and it's so beautiful, it gives your checks a stunning glow and is ever so slightly irredescent when it catches the light. Again, I need to repurchase this as I have hardly any left! I apply this highlight with a stilling brush as it gives just the right amount of glow without looking cakey.

Highlight no.2 - Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured in the shade Opal. Again, this has some gold tones to it so is great for when I have a tan, however I use it on my Cupid's bow to highlight my upper lip and also in the centre of my lower lip,  when I wear lipstick to give the illusion of fuller lips. I also apply this with a stippling brush.

Blush - Zoeva Nude Spectrum Blush Palette. I received this as a Christmas present and haven't actually tried it out yet! However it is in my make up bag so it does count..!

Mascara - L'Oréal Volume Million Lashes has been my most recent make up purchase. The mascara wand really separates my lashes and allows me to get to the root of my lashes giving them major volume and length. My only wish with this mascara would be that they make a waterproof version of this mascara as this mascara is water based and after a while, it makes my lashes droop slightly, whereas a waterproof mascara is oil based and allows the lashes to stay curly and volumised. With all that said, I am still super happy with this product.

Mascara no.2 - Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I received this mascara in my last Glossybox during the summer. The hourglass shaped wand is perfect for gripping my lashes and perfectly coating them. I have this mascara in the mini version and will be purchasing the full sized version soon!

These are the main products I am currently carrying around with me in my make up bag. As always, all links for every product mentioned will be left below.

I hope I have possibly inspired you to treat yourself to a new make up product!
