Skincare Products - What i've Recently Bought and What I Use

I have been on the hunt for a new moisturiser for a while now and I stumbled across the Origins page on After about half an hour of contemplating which cream to get I decided to treat myself with a night-time cream and a day-time cream from Origins.

I went for the Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask to Quench Skin's Thirst..(wow that is a mouthful..) for my night time treatment and the Origins Make A Difference Plus + Ultra-Rich Rejuvenating Cream, for my day time moisturiser.

First of all, let me just express the love for the smell of both products. The Overnight Mask smells incredible and is so easy to apply to the skin. The overnight mask is made with Japanese Seaweed which helps to prevent with further dehydration of the skin. The active ingredient in this mask is apricot kernel oils as well as avocado oils..maybe this is why is smells so good...I use this mask 2/3 times a week depending on how much my skin needs the added hydration.

The Make A Difference + cream is smooth and silky and a little goes a long way. Now let's move onto the Rejuvenating Cream. This Ultra-Rich cream includes Lychee and Watermelon which quenches your skins thirst and has been clinically proven to increase the skins moisture as well as leaving it hydrated. This cream is oil-free which works wonders for me as I have combination skin, so this cream doesn't make my skin feel too oily.

So for the rest of my skincare..I use the Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser. This cleanser is so soft to work into my skin and it leaves it really does provide radiance! One to two pumps of this cleanser is plenty for my face, it removes all of my make up. The other cleanser I sometimes use is the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. This also leaves my skin glowing as well as incredible clean, it even removes my mascara! The Hot Cloth Cleanser has soothing chamomile and cocoa butter which leaves my face feeling super soft.

Next up is my weekly facemask by MUDMASKY. Their Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask brightens my skin as well as hydrating it. The mask has a plumping effect which makes my skin feel so energised and fresh.

About 6 months ago I was introduced to Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Dry Oil. This oil includes plenty of Vitamin E which deeply repairs the skin. I also use this oil on my hair for a hair mask and on my thighs as it has  properties which can reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Finally to set the scene for my skincare routine, I burn my Candle Boutique Soy Wax Candle in the scent Lime, Basil and Mandarin. This is a beautiful scent and makes the room smell incredible.

I hope this has given you an insight to my skincare routine and has maybe given you some ideas to your next skincare purchases!
